Dear Heaven Maker:

My dear friend Jeffrey Van Dyk and I speak every couple of months.

In our most recent conversation, we spoke about how the language we use creates our perception of reality.  It’s not just the words, it’s also the actual language itself.

For example, my mother tongue is Yiddish.  My parents, sister, and I spoke it at home.

I learned English outside, on the streets and in public school.

Then I learned Hebrew in Hebrew school, and studied French and Latin in high school.

I also know smatterings of German, Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, and Brazilian Portuguese.

Why am I telling you all of this?

Dear Heaven Maker:

Joe Vitale is a coach, a speaker, and a very original thinker.

He calls his work ZERO LIMITS.

Think about that for a moment.

With ZERO LIMITS, how much easier it is for you and everyone to experience Heaven on Earth and make more and more of it real?

Joe recently interviewed me and I spoke with new clarity and a deeper commitment.  

Joe connected with what Heaven on Earth is for him in a deep, emotional way that it stopped me in my tracks.

Dear Heaven Maker:

What is Power?

Power allows you to do things, have influence, make things happen.

Institutions have great Power. Leaders – presidents, politicians, generals – have great Power. This is Power outside of you, external Power, the Power of position.

When it comes to internal Power, most people think they have a fixed amount.

Runa Bouius has a different view of personal Power. She’s interested in your ‘True Power.’ Runa’s mission: To elevate humanity’s relationship to Power.
She is committed to releasing the fullness of the Power inside of you and using it to do good in our world.

Runa says, “You Are Power.” When she said that to me, I felt a sudden surge of Power. It was exhilarating.

Dear Heaven Maker:

“The elephant in the room” is a phrase that refers to an obvious or controversial problem that no one wants to talk about.  It’s uncomfortable, it’s awkward.  It’s an issue that everyone is aware of but stays away from.

“Mouse in the room” is a phrase developed by David Wood and it refers to something about you, something that you’re feeling or thinking, that the other person may not know about.  An elephant is BIG, a mouse is small.  They’re both important to well-being.

Dear Heaven Maker:

The Russian invasion of Ukraine has sickened our peace-loving world.

In this video, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, a Russian bass-baritone, sings White Cranes, composed in 1969 in honor of those Russians killed in World War II.

I was reluctant to share it at first because of the Russian military personnel. But, the more I watched it and the more I heard the oh-so beautiful music and the oh-so poignant words, the more I realized that this song is not merely a Russian song. It is universal, timeless. It transcends nationalities.

The song speaks of the sadness of soldiers not returning, of those who, on dying, turn into white cranes who pray for peace for all.

Dear Heaven Maker:

This is the season for college graduations and speeches by valedictorians.

This speech, however, is different. It’s very different.

The graduate delivering it, Elizabeth Bonker, has non-speaking autism. She typed her speech and had someone else read it.
