FACEBOOK: PEI HEAVEN ON EARTH

There’s a devoted Facebook page: PEI Heaven on Earth. The image at the top of the FB page is the current PEI license plate (we’ve just put in the 00-000 as a place holder number). On the bottom of the real license plate are the words: “Birthplace of Confederation”...

Late night TV host Conan O’Brien talks about what Heaven on Earth is

Dear Heaven Maker:
On June 24, Conan O’Brien ended 28 years hosting two different late night comedy/interview shows in the US.
After thanking the network, his producers, writers, family and fans, he said:
“So my advice to people watching out there right now — it’s not easy to do. It’s not easy to do.
It’s not easy to do, but try — try and do what you love with people you love.
And if you can manage that, it’s the definition of heaven on earth. I swear to God, it really is…”
Thanks Conan for being a Heaven Maker.
Love,
Martin

Dancing Heaven on Earth

Dancing Heaven on Earth

Dear Heaven Maker:
One fabulous way to experience Heaven on Earth is by dancing Heaven on Earth. Yes, dancing Heaven on Earth!
I’ve just found this wonderful video of a woman named Alicia doing just that. Watch it all, especially what she says at the end.
Let Alicia inspire you to use a piece of music you love and dance Heaven on Earth. Pick music that moves your Soul and your body, music that immediately puts you and your body into the experience of Heaven on Earth: classical, hip-hop, jazz, opera, religious, country, rock and roll…whatever music that does it for you.

An Angel from Mumbai

An Angel from Mumbai

Dear Heaven Maker:
A couple of months ago I got a message from Deepti Khettry, in Mumbai, India.  She’d been doing an online search to understand ‘Heaven on Earth,’ found my site, and was drawn to my book Project Heaven on Earth.  She wanted to know more and messaged me. I suggested she sign up for my free 7 day course, ‘One Week to Simply Begin Creating Heaven on Earth.’  She began getting my weekly blog posts, loved them, and thanked me for my contribution to Heaven on Earth.  That’s when I wrote her and asked what her contribution to Heaven on Earth is.
I was so very moved by her response I had to share it with you.
Thank you Deepti for being a Heaven Maker.
Love,
Martin

An Airbnb for Gardens

An Airbnb for Gardens

Dear Heaven Maker:
Imagine you’re living in London, England in a rented apartment. You’d love to grow some fresh fruits and vegetables to eat but there’s nowhere to do that in your apartment or in your building. At the same time, there are people living in London who have a home with a garden.
What would happen if you brought those two kinds of people together?
That’s the Heaven on Earth idea behind AllotMe.
Here’s two write-ups about them.
The first is from Trend-Watching and the second from AllotMe’s website.
Love,
Martin

You Win The Nobel Prize

You Win The Nobel Prize

Dear Heaven Maker:
Alfred Nobel was a chemist, engineer, and inventor who made a fortune from several hundred inventions, the most famous of which was dynamite. He grew concerned about his legacy when he realized the harm his invention had caused. So, he decided to use the majority of his money to encourage and acknowledge people who had “conferred the greatest benefits to mankind,” and he established the five Nobel Prizes: Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Literature, and Peace. He wanted his prizes to inspire people to create grand contributions to Humanity.
In 1968, a new prize was established – The Swedish Bank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel. This prize was not in Nobel’s will, and the way they got around that was to name it in honor of him and have the Nobel Committee agree to administer it. The precedent for a new prize was established.
Imagine there’s another new prize – The Nobel Prize for Heaven on Earth. It’s awarded annually to the person who’s made a major contribution to establishing Heaven on Earth.
