I remember the first time I heard Luciano Pavarotti sing, before he was widely known. I couldn’t believe such a voice existed….pure, direct, powerful. He definitely had ‘IT.’
My dear friend Justin sent me a video of a new Russian soprano, Nina Solodovnikova.
I’d never heard of her.
I watched and listened to her and again I couldn’t believe what I was hearing – pure, focussed, musical, strong, and, above all, transcendent.
She took me to Heaven right here on Earth.
