Dear Heaven Maker:
Sonia and Anita, two sisters living in India, have been blind since birth, but a simple eye operation made it possible for them to see their mother and father for the first time.
The nonprofit organization 20/20/20 provides free operations to thousands of people in developing countries. These procedures empower people in impoverished communities to create better futures. In this short film, Blue Chalk Media shares the sisters’ poignant story and captures their initial experiences after the bandages come off.
Why the name: 20/20/20? Their goal is restoring full eyesight (20/20) to 20 million blind children and adults. I call that a Heaven on Earth goal.
Make sure you have some Kleenex handy when you watch this.
