The H2 Clipper….disrupting the fossil fuel transportation economy

Dear Heaven Maker:

Think of a product that’s made in China and destined for the US.

It’s loaded on a truck and delivered to a railway station. The railway takes it to a port on the coast where it’s loaded on a ship. The ship then travels to the west coast of the US where the product is unloaded, put on a truck, and then shipped to, let’s say, St. Louis. It takes time, there’s the potential for theft and damage, and the entire procedure uses a LOT of polluting fossil fuel.

Imagine getting rid of this highly wasteful, environmentally damaging, slow process, and at the same time serving the planet.

Imagine no more!

The H2 Clipper is a high-speed, high-altitude, hydrogen-powered dirigible that uses no fossil fuels and has a host of commercial, humanitarian and military applications.

The H2 slashes the high cost of air transportation and delivers very large cargo loads (up to 220 tons) from Asia in days versus the weeks required for ocean transport. That’s because the Clipper can pick up the load right at the factory in China and deliver it directly to a warehouse anywhere in the world.

For automakers and the growing fuel cell industry, the H2 Clipper can be used to transport hydrogen to the expanding network of hydrogen fueling stations, eliminating the need for the expensive transport of hydrogen in liquefied form or through new pipelines.

Development of the H2 Clipper will spark new technologies, new domestic manufacturing, and new service industries.

The H2 Clipper can operate without airfields or expensive infrastructure. It can move freight or passengers great distances making it a huge asset for humanitarian uses. The devastation from floods, tornadoes, and earthquakes all around the world, needs a bigger, quicker humanitarian response. The H2 Clipper can provide medical supplies, food, and water in hard-to-reach areas. Landing in crisis areas requires an open field slightly longer than the H2 Clipper’s length. No ground crew or infrastructure is needed. The H2 Clipper can also transport hundreds of thousands of gallons of water for fire, drought, and disasters.

What Apple Computer did to the large mainframe computer industry, the H2 Clipper will do to the the highly polluting global transportation system.

Love,
Martin
