Here’s a Way to Bring Liberals and Conservatives Together

Dear Heaven Maker:

Are you frustrated by the constant arguing between the right and the left, between liberal and conservative, Democrat and Republican, or whatever the right-left split is in your nation?

I know I am.

It’s a divide that continues, with no end in sight – one side against the other – one side always right, the other side always wrong.  Both sides playing the very same game, ”I’m right, you’re wrong.”  The game is set up to never achieve satisfaction, peace, and harmony.

For years, I’ve been on the lookout for people and organizations that don’t operate this way.  Instead, they find the common ground and use that common ground as the foundation for building long-lasting, respectful, useful, and effective relationships.

I recently found this very insightful talk by Dr. Jonathan Haidt on the moral roots of liberals and conservatives.

Dr. Haidt is a moral psychologist. In this video, he speaks about how to understand and appreciate both sides. You will learn how to transcend and see ‘your’ side and ‘their’ side, from a higher perspective that includes both sides.

Dr. Haidt’s perspective is so clearly Heaven on Earth.

Imagine the impact of healing the apparent ‘left-right’ divide, while still honoring each perspective.  It is being done!

Thank you Dr. Haidt for being a Heaven Maker.

Love,
Martin

PS:  Whether you’re on the right side or the left side of the political spectrum, please watch the video right to the end.  It’s important.
