Dear Heaven Maker:
I love magic. I love seeing a good magician who completely fools me.
Magic understands the way you view the world and then upends it.
I remember once being in a magic store in Victoria, Canada. The owner asked me if I wanted to see a trick. I said an enthusiastic, “YES!!!”
He put a yellow silk hanky into his open fist, closed his fist, then opened it again fully….and the hanky was gone, disappeared, kaput.
I couldn’t believe it.
He did the same trick two more times and I continued to be totally baffled…and he did the trick 4 inches in front of my face.
He asked if I wanted to know how the trick was done. I said “Yes.” “Good,” he said, “that’ll be $5.00.“
I gave him the money and he showed me.
I could not believe how simple it was.
I love magic because it transforms a belief system. It takes a certain way of viewing the world and then blows it away.
At it’s heart, that’s what Project Heaven on Earth is. It transforms the belief, “This is not Heaven on Earth and it can never be,” into
“This is Heaven on Earth and every day in many, many ways, we are experiencing and co-creating more of it.”
