Dear Heaven Maker:
William Close is the inventor of the ‘Earth Harp‘, a musical instrument that uses the architecture around it to create its sound.
He’s redesigning the music experience and putting the audience inside the instrument.
He uses canyons, he uses buildings, as part of his harp.
He builds a resonating chamber on stage with illuminated strings suspended above the audience and attached to the canyon or the building so that the entire performance space is transformed into a musical instrument.
I saw this video and was blown away by his originality and by the experience he creates for the audience.
He’s a Heaven Maker.
