Dear Heaven Maker:
I’ve been engaged for almost 30 years with creating Heaven on Earth.
In that time I’ve noticed that, in general, women ‘get it’ about creating Heaven on Earth almost instantly.
They consider Heaven on Earth to be a vehicle in which they can express, create, and manifest their real contribution in moving our world toward a better place for us all. As a woman friend of mine once said, “Heaven on Earth is the natural language of women.”
I’ve also observed, over this same time period, that men have not been anywhere near as engaged, and I’ve been trying to find out why.
This past November I started realizing something new was happening – men were now beginning to show up. They were contributing and participating in the process of creating Heaven on Earth in a very observable way.
Why now?
I’d like to offer an insight that recently came to me and I’d love your thoughts on it.
In general, men show up, they become present, when there’s a problem that needs solving, when there’s something not working that needs to be fixed.
And that’s what’s going on in the world today. There’s lots that’s not working: the turmoil in the US, Brexit, the refugee situation, economic upheaval, environmental degradation, the threat of nuclear war, and on and on.
I recently did this video interview with The Mankind Project. They offer a very good course, which I’ve done, on what it means to be a man. I took it in Houston, in 2009, and it was a profound experience that is still with me. I say this because of the values that are normalized in the program – values such as mission, purpose, integrity, stepping up and support.

The time has come for all of us, no matter our identity, to join together and say, “Heaven on Earth is the natural language of our human family.”
